BAYSIDE RESIDENTS: It's that time again for our community-wide annual yard sale and central bazaar on Saturday, August 23 from 10am to 3pm! Save your quality used household items, sports and camping gear, furniture, garden tools, school/office items, books, etc. to sell. This Community Yard Sale attracts CalPoly Humboldt students are looking for household and kitchen items, and bargains on bicycling and sports equipment. Artists, craftspeople and makers cruise with the Bayside Yard Sale Map for odds & ends for their art and projects.
To participate, there is a $10 fee payable to Bayside Corners, the host organization, to cover the costs of signs, map-making, printing, and promotion.
You can pay the $10 to join in one of 3 easy ways.

It is important that you sign up and email your information by August 15th, so that if you want to sell from your yard/driveway we will have time to mark your location on the Bayside Yard Sales map.
We will post the Yard Sales Map on our website www.baysidecorners.org and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BaysideCorners and Instagram so shoppers can download the map to find yours and all the Bayside yard sales locations, We will also print and distribute paper maps.
1) Sell from your own yard and we will provide you with Bayside Yard Sales Maps that include your sale address, red yard sale signs, and advance promotion. You must send us your yard sale address by August 15 to be included in the Map.

2) At the Central Bazaar, join other sellers & vendors at the Temperance Hall -- corner of Old Arcata and Jacoby Creek Roads. If you are selling at the Bazaar: We do not accept clothing. Your items for sale must be priced and dropped off on Friday, August 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m. We must know in advance if you are unable to staff your table – or would like to help on a volunteer shift. Please notify us at 707-845-5524. All items that are not sold are the responsibility of the owner to collect. This is a community service and we cannot afford hauling a dumping costs.
Bayside Corners’ volunteers enjoy providing this annual community service to Bayside residents and welcoming yard sale shoppers from all over the County to the great ‘secondhand scores’ in Bayside. Funds raised through your $10 fees and donations will pay for signs, maps, and support Hall repairs and improvements and site beautification. The project goal is for the Temperance Hall (built in 1882) in the center of Bayside’s historic district to become a useful venue and to transform the site into a minipark for all to enjoy. Bayside Corners continues to raise funds for this 143 year old social hall. The total budget for this ambitious placemaking project is estimated at $350,000 and will be accomplished in phases over time.
